Directions
The snowshoe hike leads through the wildly beautiful Altensteintal valley from Fischleinboden directly up to the Three Peaks. According to many locals, it is particularly beautiful up there in winter. In winter, the shelters are not open, so be sure to pack provisions. The route is the same for the way there as well as for the way back.
Tip: To all the ski tourers we recommend to continue up to the Sextner Stein. The view is even better from a little higher up! Prerequisite: Skilled handling of avalanche equipment and experience in assessing avalanche danger required. Tours outside the prepared trails are only recommended with suffi cient alpine experience.
