How about a snowshoe hike in the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park? From the Prato Piazza car park, you first set off across the high plateau and then gently uphill to Monte Specie. Once you reach the summit, you're rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Three Peaks.

If you’d like to turn your winter hike into a pleasure hike, the best tour is the Sesto Mountain Pasture hike which goes from the Passo Monte Croce to the Coltrondo Alm Alpine farm, on to the Nemes Alm Alpine farm and finally to the Klammbachalm Alpine farm. A veritable culinary highlight.

Tobogganing

Swap your skis and snow shoes for a toboggan. Whether on foot or - the easy way - by 3 Zinnen Dolomites cable cars and lifts, as soon as you reach the starting point you can enjoy a rapid descent, and there are lots of attractive toboggan runs in the holiday region 3 Zinnen in the Dolomites for you to choose from.

Our top tip
The highlight of the toboggan runs is certainly the toboggan run on the Croda Rossa. Take the gondola lift to the Rotwandwiese summit station and the 5 km long toboggan run starts directly from there back into the valley.
