Toblach cross-country stadium – Gemärk with a view of the Three Peaks

At 16.8 kilometres, this is one of the longer but most rewarding tours. The Gemärk circuit starts at the Toblach cross-country stadium and leads gently uphill to the Gemärk pass at 1,530 metres above sea level before returning along the same path. Scenic highlights along the way include Lake Dobbiaco, the panoramic view of the Three Peaks and Lake Dürrensee. On this circuit, you will cross the entire Höhlensteintal valley – always with the striking mountain backdrop of the 3 Zinnen Dolomites region in sight.

Fischleintal valley circular trail

Relaxed, scenic and easy-going: This short 4.5 km circular route through the Fischleintal valley in Sexten is perfect for a laid-back day in the snow. Your constant companion: spectacular views of the Sexten sundial.

And did you know that this trail is ideal for groups? Those craving more can head out for a second round, while the others unwind with a coffee in hand.

Plätzwiese high-altitude trail

It’s no coincidence that this top tour in the heart of the nature park is a favourite training ground for Olympic athletes. After all, the Plätzwiese high plateau at 2,000 metres above sea level boasts outstanding snow conditions throughout the season.

However, the 6.5 km trail is not just for pros. Beginners are also welcome to glide peacefully across the snow of Prags, taking in views of the Hohe Gaisl, Monte Cristallo and the Tofane peaks.

FIS trails in Toblach

Starting at Toblach Nordic Arena, you can test your stamina, technique and skills on one of five official FIS World Cup training circuits. These short but demanding loops feature varied climbs and descents – so you decide just how hard you want to push yourself and how many laps you’ll take.
