The circular trail starts right at the Monte Elmo cable car mountain station and leads through Olperl’s winter world, passing the lookout tower and the children’s alpine pasture. The little rascal Olperl and his friends are already waiting to welcome you!

Huge, snow-white, and wearing a friendly smile, our eight-metre-tall giant snowmen welcome you right at the Croda Rossa mountain station. Against the mighty peaks of the Dolomites, the snowman family may look almost small - but the moment you stand in front of them, you truly feel their impressive size.

Our animal park on Monte Elmo invites you to enjoy a very special winter experience: here you’ll meet yaks, alpacas, and other mountain animals living amidst the impressive Dolomites scenery. A visit to the animal park is the perfect way to take a relaxing break during the day, consciously enjoy nature, and experience winter from a calmer yet equally fascinating side.
Every Monday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. there is an alpaca walk,
and every Thursday at the same time you can take part in a yak feeding.
