Alpine tour with a wonderful view of the Three Peaks. Relatively long and quite strenuous hike with a short, secured passage above the Wildgrabenjoch/Torre degli Scarperi.
Starting from the parking area in the Innerfeldtal valley you hike up to the hut Dreischusterhütte (path no. 105) and further up to the foot of Morgenkopf (2493m). At the crossroads on the right and up to the Wildgrabenjoch (2289m), there you have a spectacular view of the Three Peaks. Continue along a short, secure passage (wire ropes) and cross the Schwabenalpe to the east, to the left the Schwabenalpenkopf (2687m) rises. The trail now continues eastwards down into the barrow trough between Morgenkopf and Gwengalpenjoch - wonderful view of the Dreischusterspitze (3145m) - back to the crossroad Wildgrabenjoch and on the way back to the Innerfeldtal parking area.
