Dream panorama in the Dolomites of Sesto - medium-heavy tour starting from the Fischleintal valley with a wonderful view of the Three Peaks.
Starting point for this panoramic tour is the parking lot Fischleinboden/hut . The journey from Sexten/Moos by bus or car into the Val di Fiscalina valley to the parking area (chargeable) at the Fischleinboden hut. From there it goes first southwards over the Fischleinboden over flat terrain to the hut Talschlusshütte and then right over the Altensteintal valley westwards to the Bodenalpe. Here we walk past the foot of the Toblinger knot to the Sextnerstein. Arriving at the summit we stand directly in front of the northern walls of the Three Peaks and the Paternkofel stands next to it as a mighty cone.
