The area around the Kreuzberg Pass and the Sesto Alpine pastures is a true paradise for snowshoe hikers and ski tourers.
Directions
The snow shoe hike starts at the Kreuzberg pass. From there it goes up to the Bärensee lake and on to the Forcella Pian d. Biscia. The so-called vantage point "Schuss" in German, or "Cima dei Colesei" in Italian, not only offers a great view of Sexten, but also of the regional border to Veneto and is particularly popular because of its low difficulty. The route is the same for the way there as well as for the way back.
