Directions
The cross-country trail begins in the forest behind the Alte Säge inn. Alternatively, you can start from the Innerfeldtal car park and join the trail there. From here, you then head towards Sexten/Alte Säge. At the beginning, the trail runs parallel to the main road. After a short climb, it leads into a wooded area and continues along the river. Shortly before the Sonnwendplatz playground, the trail branches off and leads across open meadows to Frohne. There, the view opens up to the Sexten sundial. After a short descent, the trail follows the Sextenbach stream. To the right of the trail is the Waldheimlift, a small T-bar lift that you pass by. Shortly afterwards, the route ends. Nearby are the entrances to the cross-country ski trail in the Fischleintal valley and the Waldheim circular trail.
