Directions
The entrance to the Waldheim circular trail is just a few minutes' walk from the Haus der Berge. After crossing the road, follow the pavement for a short distance towards Moos, past the Hotel Waldheim. Behind the hotel, a marked path branches off to the right – this leads downhill directly to the official trail entrance.
As there are also private properties in this area and you should avoid trespassing, we recommend following the marked access route.
From here, the trail runs into the valley towards Moos, past the Hotel Monika and the Waldheim playground. Shortly before the bridge, you can shorten the loop and walk back towards the starting point.
If you want to extend the route, cross the bridge, cross the winter hiking trail and follow the cross-country ski trail that runs parallel to the path. After another crossing, you will reach open meadows, pass through a bend near the houses and then head back out of the valley. Another bridge will take you back to the starting point.
