This family hike is especially something special for animal lovers, as it passes directly by the Altschluderbach wildlife park and offers a place to stop there. Native animal species such as deer, wild boars, roe deer, native birds, and similar are kept there, but thanks to the large area and location in the forest, they enjoy complete freedom.

The family hike leads on an asphalt road through the middle of the meadows on the sunny side of Toblach to Neunhäusern and further to the neighboring municipality of Niederdorf. The return route goes via Bad Maistatt and past Altschluderbach, where the wildlife park is located, into the district of Rienz and back to Toblach.
