Snowshoe hike - Plätzwiese high plateau - Strudelkopf peak

You start from the car park at the Plätzwiese high plateau and continue to the Dürrenstein hut. Turn left there and start the snowshoe hike on trail no. 34 in the direction of Strudelkopf peak. At the saddle (2,200 m), turn right towards the Strudelkopf peak. Once you reach the summit cross, also known as the "Heimkehrerkreuz", you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Tofane, Monte Cristallo and the Three Peaks along with the rest of the Sextner Dolomites.
