Summer circular hike: Niederdorf - Bad Maistatt - Toblacher See - Niederdorf
The hike starts at the Niederdorf train station building and takes you past the historic spa town of Bad Maistatt, a place full of history and natural healing springs. From there, it continues to the idyllic Toblacher See, whose shores invite you to linger and marvel.
A fascinating nature trail with eleven lovingly designed stations winds around the lake, offering fascinating insights into the rich flora, diverse fauna, and the geological formation history of the region. Here, natural knowledge becomes vivid and tangible.
A special highlight is the viewpoint on the western shore of the lake, which invites you to rest with its peaceful atmosphere and offers an impressive panoramic view of the animal and plant life as well as the silting zone – a real insider tip for nature lovers and photographers.
The return route leads you leisurely through the lively Toblach and the popular Olympia campsite back to Niederdorf. Along the way, you can breathe in the fresh mountain air deeply and fully enjoy the varied landscape.
