The themed route "Power Places and Forest Therapy – Balance" invites you to immerse yourself in a very special world where humans and nature form a harmonious connection. The hike starts at the volunteer fire station building, initially follows along Rienzstraße, and leads you up to Kasbachergraben. From there, you follow the well-marked paths that take you along the idyllic Tschachenweg to the St. Magdalena im Moos Church – a contemplative place where you can find peace.
The path then leads you back down to Niederdorf to the craftsmen's zone. From there, you make a wide loop further in the direction of Maistatt before finally returning again to Niederdorf.
At several lovingly designed stations along the way, you are invited to meditations that make the healing energy of nature tangible for body and mind. The ancient knowledge of geomancy – the study of the interactions between cosmic, earthly, and human energies – helps you discover places of special power. Power places are zones with heightened earth radiation that promote well-being, provide inner peace, and grant new strength.
Another central component of the path is forest bathing: by mindfully staying amidst nature, a deep connection is established that strengthens the immune system, calms the mind, and grants inner peace.
Health and well-being have a tradition in Niederdorf – as evidenced by the establishment of the Kneipp facility in the town. The meditation path "Power Places and Forest Therapy" offers a valuable addition that serves many people as a spiritual and healing source. It stands as a conscious alternative to the often consumption-oriented everyday life of our time and opens the view to the simple but effective power of nature.
