Rotwandwiesen – Rotwandköpfe – Rotwandspitze – Burgstall – Rotwandwiesen Route character: easy via ferrata, hardly any exposed sections, all well secured. Lots of hiking terrain, great views. Can be nicely combined with the Alpinisteig (No. 3) and the Ferrata Zandonella (No. 2). Marking: approach red-white-red with No. 100, via ferrata red triangles, return from Burgstall No. 15B Highlights: Dolomite motifs all around: Dreischusterspitze, Zwölfer, Elfer, view from the summit to the Hochbrunnerschneide; panorama from the summit of the Rotwand. Starting point: mountain station of the Rotwandwiesen cable car (1914m). Walking times: total 5 ¾ hrs, ascent 3 ½ hrs, descent 2 ¼ hrs. Altitude difference: approx. 1000m
