A varied winter hike from the Kreuzberg Pass along snow-covered forest roads and the idyllic “Root Trail” to the Hennstall – perfect for those who want to enjoy nature and tranquility.

Important notice: Proper footwear and suitable winter clothing are required for all winter hikes. Due to possible icy sections – even on groomed trails – the use of microspikes/crampons and trekking poles is recommended.
From here, you can either end the hike and conveniently return to the starting point at Kreuzberg Pass by public transport, or extend your hike and continue on to Moos.
Coming from the Puster Valley, turn off at San Candido into the Sexten Valley and continue to Moso. If coming from the Kreuzberg Pass, follow the main road. Starting point: parking area at the Kreuzberg Pass.
