The bike tour starts in Welsberg/Monguelfo and leads you along the bike path to Schmieden/Ferrara. From Schmieden/Ferrara you drive on the forest road to St. Veit/San Vito. The last part (about 2 kilometers) you drive on the main road, which is partially closed to cars from mid-July to mid-September.

Vierschach-Helm lift closed summer 2026

The Helmissimo-Versciaco cable car will remain closed in summer 2026 due to construction work. The ticket office in Versciaco is open daily from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Monte Elmo can be reached via the Helmjet Sexten cable car.
