Climbing tour: Col di Specie – Palfrader VII-

Starting point: Lago di Landro (1.428 m)

The tour through the hidden Col di Specie-face into the Valley of Landro offers exciting alpin-climbing. It’s possible to make the tour already early in the year because of its sunny exposition and of its low height of vertex. The climbing follows the V-cleft which draws through the 350 m high Geierwand-face. In the total demand the tour is comparable with the „Gelbe Kante/Spigolo Giallo“. Fort the local climbers the tour is a classic, although it doesn’t receive much attention from the externals.
