The bike tour from Niederdorf to the Gsiesertal Valley delights with its varied landscape and peaceful route. From Niederdorf, the route leads along the Plätzwiese (Platari) to Welsberg. From there, it runs along the banks of the Gsieser Bach through the idyllic valley, past the hamlets of Oberplanken and Preindl, all the way to St. Martin. The tour follows easily navigable paths and runs mostly through gentle terrain. Only two short climbs add a bit of variety before the route continues at a leisurely pace. Thanks to its pleasant terrain profile, the tour is suitable for both leisure cyclists and e-bike riders, offering beautiful views of the Gsiesertal Valley’s unspoiled nature along the way.

You start your bike ride in Villabassa/Niederdorf. Along the `Platari` road you will arrive in Monguelfo/Welsberg. Once in the center of the village, follow the road on the banks of the river. You reach the hamlets of `Oberplanken` and` Preindl`, where you cross the river and the road. From here follow the road to San Martino. Apart from two climbs, this tour is easy and also suitable for e-bikes.
