Directions
Starting from the parking lot in the Innerfeldtal valley, follow trail No. 105 to the Dreischusterhütte (1,626 m) and continue uphill to the foot of the Morgenkopf (2,493 m). At the fork, keep right and ascend via trail No. 9 and later No. 10 to the Wildgrabenjoch (2,289 m), where a spectacular view of the north faces of the Three Peaks opens up. Then, cross the Schwabenalpe eastward via trail No. 11, including a short, secured passage with steel cables, with the Schwabenalpenkopf (2,687 m) rising impressively to the left. The path continues east down into the extensive karst hollow between Morgenkopf and Gwengalpenjoch – offering fantastic views of the Dreischusterspitze (3,145 m). From there, return via trail No. 11A and later No. 105 to the junction near Wildgrabenjoch and hike back down comfortably on the same path to the starting point in the Innerfeldtal valley.
