Directions
From Moos, take the cable car up to the beautiful Rotwandwiesen meadows. The path (no. 18) first crosses the flat meadows of the Rotwand, then leads through sparse forest and finally descends to the Kreuzberg pass (1636 m). Throughout the entire route, you can see traces from the World Wars, especially at the Arzalpenkopf, which is completely riddled with caverns and tunnels. From the Kreuzberg pass, the return journey to the Rotwand valley station can also be made by public bus. Otherwise, hiking trail no. 13A continues to the "Signaue" (1450 m) and finally leads back directly to the starting point via the Sexten circular trail (no. 1).
public transportation
Line 446, bus stop Kabinenbahn Rotwand; alternatively, during the high season, also line 440.
How to get there
Coming from the Pustertal valley, turn into the Sexten valley in Innichen. If arriving from the Kreuzberg pass, follow the main road until you reach Sexten.
Where to park
Parking available at the valley station Rotwand
