Hike: To the Gsellwiesen meadows

The hike begins in the center of Sexten (1310 m). From there, walk past the Sparkasse on the right and follow path no. 12A. The path is initially paved but soon leads directly into the shady forest. At a junction, follow the sign "Innergsell". Via gentle serpentines, the trail climbs moderately steep through the quiet forest up to the beautiful Innergsellwiesen – an ideal place for a short break in the heart of nature. Continue across a scree field below the Gsell towards Außergsell and finally to the Außergsellwiesen. For the descent, take hiking trail no. 16 at a junction, which leads safely and well-marked back to Sexten.

Coming from the Pustertal valley, turn into the Sexten valley in Innichen. If arriving from the Kreuzberg pass, follow the main road until you reach Sexten.
