Directions

Starting from San Candido you go up the hill to the war cemetery "Burg". Now you follow the itinerary No. 4.

After some time branches the "road of meditation" off to the right. After about 100 m you reach the forest chapel. It is a church from the first world war, which is hidden in a wooded area with a special, mystical atmosphere and served as a hiding place for celebrating the high mass in the German language during the fascist period.

The itinerary (No. 4d) from the chapel leads slightly downhill, passing 14 contemlative stations until you reach the village Sesto/Sexten.
