The snowshoe hike leads from the Fischleinboden Hut (1,454 m) through the Kuhwald forest to the Rotwandwiesen Hut (1,900 m).

Coming from the Puster Valley, turn off at Innichen into the Sexten valley and then head towards Moos. There, turn off onto the road towards Fischleintal. Coming from the Kreuzberg Pass, follow the main road to Moos. Here, turn off onto the road towards Fischleintal. Follow the road to the end. Start at the Fischleintalboden car park.
