Summer hiking tour: Ratsberg /Monte Rota - Welsberg/Monguelfo (Roman path)

From the car park at the Alpenhotel Ratsberg, the well-marked path no. 41 leads through forest and mountain meadows. At first the slightly ascending hike to the "Kirchberg" and then a slightly descending hike, interrupted by the wide meados of Ratsberg/Monte Rota and the meados of "Hellwiesen", leads up to Welsberg/Monguelfo.

It is possible to interrupt the hike and descent to Toblach/Dobbiaco on path no. 7 through Mellaten/Melate, to the Gsiesertal/Val Casies (path no. 7) and Niederdorf/Villabassa (path no. 46).

From Toblach in north-western direction to Aufkirchen/Santa Maria and further on to Ratsberg/Monte Rota.
