This hiking trail starts in Santa Maria, a hamlet of Dobbiaco and leads to Monte Rota. From there you have a breathtaking view of Dobbiaco, the lake of Dobbiaco, lake of landro up to the end of the Valle di Landro in Carbonin. There is also a place to stop at the summit hotel. The way back goes towards Valle San Silvestro.

Directions

The circular hike starts at the parish church in Toblach/Dobbiaco and leads along path no.11 to Aufkirchen/Santa Maria. Trail no. 7B leads up to the Ratsberg/Monte Rota in the middle of the forest (this trail crosses the road a few times). From there, path no. 60 leads to Stadlern/Fienili and no. 22 leads back to Toblach passing the district Wahlen/San Silvestro.
