Themed path: Meditation path to "Waldkapelle" chapel

The Besinnungsweg (meditation path) with 14 stations leads from the Sexten parish church to the Waldkapelle chapel (1552 m). Starting from the church, the biblical path begins, marked with trail numbers 5 and 4B. It leads past stations of the Cross to the Höslerhöfe farms and then via field path 4B to the Ladstätterhof farm. From here, the route goes through forests and meadows until the Waldkapelle is reached. The duration given is for the outward and return journeys.

Bus route 446, Sexten Helm bus stop; during the peak season, you can also take bus route 440 or route 440.1 (Mitterberg shuttle).

Coming from the Puster Valley, turn off at San Candido into the Sesto Valley. Coming from the Kreuzberg Pass, follow the main road to Sesto. You can reach the starting point easily and directly by taking bus route 440.1, the Mitterberg Shuttle.
