To San Candido via the "Maierkaser", "Elslerkaser" and "Rohrwald"

Mountain pastures at the foot of Monte Baranci

Take the 4-seater-Baranci-chairlift up to 1,500 m. Trail no. 6 begins at the Gigante Baranci hut and leads uphill to the "Maierkaser", an unmanaged mountain pasture, at 1,708 m. Continue onwards along trail no. 6A to "Elslerkaser" at 1,605 m (not open for tourism) and then follow trail no. 28 through the "Rohrwald" wood and down to the valley station of the Baranci chairlift.
