To the Memorial Cross in East Tyrol

From the Monte Elmo mountain station the trail leads along forest trail no. 4, past the country trail 3A to the Helmhaus hut on the Peak of Monte Elmo on the italian-austrian border. Continue onwards along the Carnica crest on trail no. 13 until you arrive at the cross (2,373 m). Return along trail no. 13 and 14 ti the "Leckfeld" saddle, then trails no. 20 and 3 towards the Gallo Cedrone hut and back to the mountain cable car station.
