Via ferrata: Monte Piana - Hauptmann-Bilgeri

The starting point of the via ferrata is the View of the Three Peaks/Landro.
From the parking place, the hiking trail no. 6 first leads into the Rienztal/Val Rienza valley and then right over the creek bed to the foot of Monte Piano. From there, the "Pioniersteig" leads upwards in bends to the start of the short via ferrata through the north-facing summit wall of Monte Piano.
The descent takes place via path no. 6A to the Forcella dei Castrati and from there on the "Touristensteig" path , past Lake Dürrensee/Lago di Landro, to the starting point.
