The starting point of this alpine hike is the church in Moos (1,346 m). On the opposite side of the street, next to the Villgrater butcher shop, begins the paved Alpe Nemes road, which initially climbs steeply. Here starts hiking trail No. 13 towards Nemesalm. At the junction near the Biovita Hotel Alpi, continue straight ahead, pass the Sonnleiten apartments, and then follow the path through a short forest section. At the next intersection, stay on trail No. 13 towards Nemesalm.
After an underpass beneath the ski slope, the wide, well-maintained forest road gently winds uphill for about 2 km. Eventually, you reach the “Saumahd” fork (1,828 m), where you switch to trail No. 133 towards Klammbachalm. This trail continues for about 1.5 km along a broad, gently ascending forest road through the woods. After some curves, the landscape opens up, and you reach Klammbachalm (1,944 m).
Behind the hut, trail markers indicate the way forward. Now follow trail No. 13 towards Nemesalm. On wide, well-prepared paths, the route descends gently through a varied landscape of open meadows and dense forest. After about 3.5 km, you arrive at Nemesalm (1,877 m). A few meters before the hut, a short path branches off to the right, leading directly to the refreshment spot.
For the return, follow trail No. 131 towards Kreuzberg Pass. This section gently descends with pleasant curves through the forest. You will cross several junctions but remain on trail No. 131 towards Kreuzberg Pass. After about 3.2 km, you reach the large parking lot directly on the pass road (1,636 m). From here, you can conveniently return to Moos by public transport.
Coming from the Puster Valley, turn off into the Sexten Valley at Innichen. If coming from the Kreuzberg Pass, follow the main road to Moos. Start anywhere in the center of Moos.
