The Bonner-hut is considered by many to be the hut with the best view of the Dolomites, including the Tre Cime.

From the Rifugio Bonner/Bonnerhütte you have an amazing view over the snowy Dolomites.

Attention: with fresh snow only possible with snow shoes.

Directions

The winter hike to the Rifugio Bonner/Bonnerhütte starts at the chapel at Gandelle/Kandellen. The path no. 25 takes in the middle of the wood into the Val Calvo/Golfental. After crossing the river the path goes uphill to the Rifugio Bonner/Bonnerhütte, which is located above the forest border.

How to get there

Coming from Villabassa turn left at the traffic light and go in the direction of the church, there go straight ahead until Gandelle.

Coming from San Candido turn right at the traffic light and go in the direction of the church, there go straight ahead until Gandelle.

Coming from Cortina enter in the directon of Dobbiaco Nuova (Via Dolomiti) and go at the traffic light straight and then in the direction of the church, there go straight ahead until Gandelle.
