The winter hike starts in Toblach/Dobbiaco directly at the parish church and leads along the Silvester/Silvestro river, on hiking trail no. 1, past Wahlen/San Silvestro, always straight ahead to thejunction Frondeigen/Franadega-Kandellen/Gandelle-Silvestertal/Valle San Silvestro. On the left-hand side, the hike continues on the little-traveled road to Kandellen.
