It is probably the unique landscape of the Sexten Dolomites that attracts numerous participants to the Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run every year. After the exertions on the route which involves more than 1,300 metres of altitude gain, you are richly rewarded at the Dreizinnenhütte/Rifugio Locatelli Hut with a fantastic view of the three majestic mountains pillars of the Three Peaks towering into the sky.
The route of the Südtirol Three Peaks Alpine Run covers 17.9 km with 1,354 meters of elevation gain, right in the heart of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage. It leads through the Fischleintal valley and beneath the striking Zwölferkofel, past the Zsigmondy Hut to the Büllele Pass, and continues above the Bödenseen lakes to the finish at the world-famous Three Peaks.
Registration can only be made via the online portal. Telephone registrations or registrations via e-mail will not be accepted. The registration is open!
The registration deadline is Thursday before the race, 20:00 p.m.. After this time, only on-site registrations are possible.
More and more families discover the two-day mountain running event in Sexten. It’s not surprising, as the colourful programme offers so many attractions: The children and youth programme takes place on both days. The heart of the event is the Mini Drei Zinnen Run on Sunday. The youngest race over 300 meters, Juniors A race a distance of 1,500 metres. Fastest runner wins. The emphasis is always on having fun.
