Heugabel 2026: Autumn Traditions in Innichen

When autumn arrives, the village of Innichen transforms into a lively meeting place for enjoyment, tradition, and craftsmanship. At the Heugabel – the traditional crafts and farmers’ market – locals and visitors come together to celebrate the variety of regional products and the rural culture of the area.
The event takes place on September 12 and 13, 2026 in the center of Innichen, inviting visitors to experience the beginning of autumn in an authentic atmosphere.

Farmers’ Market & Regional Specialties

At the heart of the Heugabel are the local farmers and their high-quality natural products. At the market stalls, they present their agricultural and processed goods – from fresh foods to traditional products from South and East Tyrol.

Culinary delights are also plentiful: local farmers’ wives treat visitors to typical specialties from the Hochpustertal, including traditional dishes such as Niggilan, Tirtlan, and other homemade delicacies.

Experience Traditional Crafts Up Close

In addition to the farmers’ market, the Heugabel also brings traditional craftsmanship to life. Around twenty artisans showcase their skills and provide insights into traditional techniques. Visitors can thus not only discover regional products, but also experience the area’s craft heritage up close.
