The Toblach Educational Weeks open with the “wild years”, explored by Paul Rösch and Patrick Rina in a book about tourism in South Tyrol from 1961 to 1983. These were the years when farmers became hoteliers, the landscape turned into the capital of a booming tourism industry, and people became witnesses and/or active participants in major social changes. Drawing on 90 interviews, the authors offer insights into this eventful period.
