Description

On this morning twilight excursion, we will explore the diverse birdlife of the Toblach Lake natural monument. Led by expert Sepp Hackhofer, we will discover the various birds that inhabit this multifaceted habitat. Within a small area, high mountains, a mountain lake, and forest converge, offering an opportunity to observe a wealth of different birds. (Excursion in German; questions also welcome in Italian)
Meeting point: Visitor Center Tre Cime - Toblach

In case of bad weather, this hike will take place on the alternative date, Friday, May 8, 2026.

Route

By train: Fortezza - San Candido - Lienz railway line, Dobbiaco station, 3-minute walk to the park visitor center
By bus: Stop at Dobbiaco train station, from there take the bus to Misurina - Auronzo (in the summer months)
By bicycle: The Puster Valley cycle path passes directly by the visitor center or the train station
By car: Public parking near the train station and along Via Dolomiti
