Electricity from hydropower for over 110 years

Since 1900, Elektrizitätswerk Toblach AG, one of South Tyrol's oldest energy companies, has been producing environmentally friendly electricity from hydropower. The three in-house power plants produce annually from the water of the Rienz and its side feeder Flodigebach 9-10 million kilowatt hours of electrical energy. The energy company supplies Dobbiaco, Villabassa and the center of San Candido. The distribution network with about 80 network stations ensures that the electricity arrives in the households and businesses.
