Mindful on the mountain – Mandl Fountain, Sexten

Description
The “Mindful in the Mountains” project aims to raise awareness among visitors and tourism operators in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site about environmentally friendly behavior and to foster a sense of respectful and responsible action both in the mountains and in everyday life. The main focus areas are drinking water and waste reduction; as part of the project, water refill points along hiking and cycling trails are also mapped.

Where to park
Parking is available at the Fischleinboden hut.

Arrival
By car or public transport, you can reach Sexten either via the SS49 coming from Innichen or via the SS48 coming from Padola over the Kreuzberg Pass.

Public transportation
La linea di autobus 446 proveniente da San Candido vi porta comodamente fino alla fermata "Fischleintalboden".
