Welcome to our Garni in the heart of the small village of Versciaco / San Candido, at the foot of the Elmo ski area in the Dolomites. Our cozy, warmly furnished home has been a beloved vacation destination for guests from all over the world since the 1970s.
In the late 1990s, Garni Lechner underwent a complete renovation, and we now offer you a blend of Tyrolean charm and modern comfort. The historic walls of Garni Lechner—known to locals as the “Schmiederhof”—are among the oldest in the tourist village of Versciaco. Records date back to the 19th century.
Thanks to our guesthouse’s central location, you can set out on hikes, bike rides, or days on the slopes right from our doorstep. In just a 5-minute walk, you can reach the skiing and hiking paradise of Monte Elmo or the San Candido–Lienz bike trail.
We invite you to spend a few relaxing days in the Dolomites, a “World Natural Heritage Site,” and we would be delighted to welcome you to our Garni!
