18 SEXTEN - Circular Trail in the Fischleintal Valley

The circular trail in the Fischleintal valley starts at the Fischleintalboden car park. Shortly before the hiking trail, the trail branches off and initially leads downhill towards the Bistro Bergsteiger, where there is an official ticket booth for trail tickets. From there, follow the trail to the right into the Fischleintal valley and enter the Three Peaks Nature Park. The route climbs gently along or partly in the bed of the Fischleinbach stream. In the rear section, the trail runs parallel to the winter hiking trail to the Talschlusshütte hut, which you pass by. After the hut, you have the option of shortening the loop and switching to the return route. Alternatively, you can continue further into the valley, where another bend leads back to the outbound trail. The return route runs slightly downhill, partly parallel to the inbound route, back to the starting point.

Coming from the Pustertal valley, turn off at Innichen into the Sextnertal valley and then head towards Moos. There, turn off onto the road towards Fischleintal. Coming from the Kreuzberg Pass, follow the main road to Moos. Here, turn off onto the road towards Fischleintal. Follow the road to the end. Start at the Fischleintalboden car park.
