Golden³Dolomites: Dolomiti Gourmet Festival 2026: Mountain food

Saturday, 3 October 2026 | 11.00 am | Location: Versciaco, Monte Elmo mountain station

For the festive finale of the gourmet weekend, this year the true star is the “mountain” itself – high up on Monte Elmo. Surrounded by an impressive alpine panorama, wood-fired stoves will be blazing, creating an authentic atmosphere where tradition meets creativity. Guest chefs and resident chefs will dedicate themselves to alpine cuisine, bringing historic mountain recipes back to life – authentic, regional and reinterpreted with a contemporary touch.

At various cooking stations, classic dishes from traditional mountain cuisine will be freshly prepared and creatively reimagined. The focus is on simple, honest ingredients and time-honoured preparation methods that have been preserved for generations in alpine huts and farmhouse parlours. Guests are invited to watch the chefs at work, engage in conversation, and taste the dishes directly on site.

The culinary experience will be accompanied by selected winemakers, who will personally present their wines and create harmonious moments of enjoyment in the heart of the mountains.
